Just wanted to mention that I made some changes to my portrait & wedding packages so that they are better than ever! All packages now come with the processed digital images from your session on disc with the printing rights. This use to be an add on, but I wanted to make my portrait & wedding packages extra special for my wonderful clients! Of course you can still order prints, albums, canvases, and other goodies from me, but now you have a little extra something to enjoy & cherish!

Seattle Wedding Photographer

Working on a few business related things today, including the above ad for my July specials. So I thought I would go ahead and share it :) Hope everyone is having a lovely Tuesday!
I think that this might go up on my website under the details section, but I thought I would also share this on the blog. Choosing a photographer for your big day is an important decision & since there are so many options out there it can be a difficult one. Especially considering how many great & talented photographers there are in the Seattle area. I thought this would be a great way to share a little bit more about myself as a wedding photographer & why I feel I am the right one for your special day…
Your wedding day is a very important day, one to be remembered for a lifetime. So you want to make sure your choice of photographer is the right one. As a full time photographer, I have the time for you & the ability to focus on your wedding. I don’t have another job cluttering up my time or distracting me from doing the best job possible. My job is to be your photographer.
Before your wedding I will take the time to meet with you for a wedding consultation to discuss all the details you don’t need (or want) to be thinking about on your wedding day. To help us get to know each other so that you feel completely comfortable & confident in front of a camera, we will schedule a relaxed engagement session for you & your significant other full of romance and fun. After the wedding, I will get your photos to you in a timely manner & help you plan out your wedding album to remember your perfect day by.
Most important, I feel that your wedding day is an important day to be remembered and I want to help you capture that day along with the little moments that make it so special.
Alki Beach – Seattle Portrait Photography
May 5, 2010If you have taken a look at my updated portfolio, you will probably recognize this session. It was an absolute blast! They were up for just about anything, including getting their feet wet in the freezing cold water of the Puget Sound!
This shoot was at Alki Beach here in Seattle & it has to be one of my all time favorite locations for a shoot around sunset, the sandy beach, the water, the rocks… The perfect setting! Add a great and fun couple to the mix & you have the perfect photo shoot :)
This last shot might just be my favorite shot of the session, just because it was so fun to capture! I think these two thought I was a little crazy until they saw this final shot (at which point they thought it was pretty cool :). I had this slightly crazy idea, inspired by this shot. Since these 2 both own iphones, I thought I would do a little twist on the Polaroid shot & show them holding a shot of themselves on an iphone. So much fun & such a great way to inject a little bit more of their personalities into the shoot :)

October 31, 2009Welcome to my blog! I am thrilled to be launching this blog, it has been in the works for a little while now & it is exciting to finally share it. For those of you who have never met me or been clients of Chara Michele Photography, I am an on-location photographer in Seattle, WA. I absolutely love the city I live in & being a photographer. I feel blessed to be doing something I love so much in such a great place!
This blog is going to be a space to share news about Chara Michele Photography, sneak peeks of recent sessions, and probably a few other photography related tidbits. I hope you will bookmark this space or add it to your feed reader & check back often!
Of course a photography blog would not be complete without photos, so here are some from an engagement session. My sister & her now husband flew out to visit and we walked around Seattle for their engagement session. They had an amazing wedding this summer that I will share in my next post.
